The United States Marine Band has been touring the country almost every year since John Philip Sousa first took the band on the road in 1891. The Marine Band Library has been intimately involved in tour preparation since those earliest days. The library is primarily responsible for preparing the sheet music that goes on tour—this year it’s 43 set-ups over 3 distinct concert programs.
