This videos is from a couple years ago when I got my hands on this Pokémon Emerald Game Boy Advance cartridge after a viewer bought it on Mercari but couldn’t get it working. They passed it on to me to see if I could bring it back to life. When I got it open, it was pretty messed up: damaged circuits and pads, plus several chips that needed to be carefully resoldered. I even had to add a few jumper wires to connect the broken pins on one of the chips. It wasn’t easy, but in the end this little G

To me they're definitely worth trying to fix both because of the potential profit and because I love trying to fix new things. Repairs include fixing various circuit board issues, removing corrosion, trying to fix someone else's failed repair attempts, etc. StezS

I paid $44 for this Pokémon Game Boy that had the front melted. The eBay seller didn't say how it happened but it does still partially work. My plan is to get it fully working again while still using the melted front shell. | TronicsFix

When starting to diagnose this Nintendo Switch it would charge but nothing would show up on the screen. When I opened it up there was obviously liquid damage and whatever the liquid was left things pretty gross. Also, I could tell something had it apart already and had not put things back correctly. I spent quite a bit of time cleaning things up. I also reconnected a capacitor and replaced the game card reader. I bought this broken Animal Crossing Special Edition Switch on eBay for $212. The Switch is in really nice condition but the seller said it wouldn't charge.
