Chloe Kim returns to the Olympic halfpipe this morning for qualifying as she begins her bid as she looks to defend her back-to-back Olympic titles and become the first snowboarder in history to win gold at three consecutive Olympic Games — a feat not even achieved by the legendary Shaun White.
Zoi Sadowski-Synnott finished as the top qualifier in the women's snowboarding big air at the 2026 Olympics with a total score of 172.25.
The qualifying round begins at 4:30 a.m. ET for United States viewers (that's 10:30 a.m. local time). Kim is 15th in the order. The halfpipe runs take a minute or less, and then you add in the transition time to the next competitor while a score is given. So it's safe to figure Kim will be on the halfpipe by around 5 a.m. ET.
